The Road to the Final

The tournament is built around four stages. Twelve clubs are divided into four groups of three, where every match counts. The two best teams from each group advance to the quarter-finals, setting up the knockout rounds that lead to the semi-finals and, finally, the match that decides it all.

Group Stage

Twelve clubs are split into four groups of three. Each team plays twice, once against each opponent in their group. The top two from each group advance to the quarter-finals, while the remaining teams compete in the classification matches for places 9 to 12.

Quarter-Finals

The eight teams that advance from the group stage meet in the quarter-finals. First-place finishers face second-place finishers from a different group, ensuring no two teams from the same group meet at this stage.

Semi-Finals

Four teams remain. The winners of each semi-final advance to the final. The two sides who don't make it through compete for third place.
