Among the distinguished graduates of the AaB Academy are Joakim Maehle and Oliver Abildgaard, who have both had a significant impact on the world of football.

Joakim Maehle emerged from the academy to become a talented defender, known for his versatility and ability to contribute to the attack. After leaving Aalborg, he continued to progress in his career by joining prestigious clubs such as KRC Genk in Belgium, where he left an indelible mark, winning the Belgian championship and impressing in European competitions. His outstanding performance eventually led him to join VfL Wolfsburg, where he continues to shine and proudly represent Denmark on the international stage.

Oliver Abildgaard, a dynamic midfielder, also made his professional debut after being trained at the AaB Academy. After his time at Aalborg, he notably joined Celtic FC in Scotland in 2022, where he consolidated his position as a world-class player.
